Alocasia × sedenii (sometimes 'Sedenii' or 'Sedeni' in trade) is a Victorian-era hybrid bred at Veitch Nurseries in Chelsea, England, by hybridizer John Seden. Introduced in 1869, it won an RHS First-Class Certificate that same year. It is a cross of Alocasia cuprea and Alocasia longiloba (the 'Lowii' form), and closely resembles its cuprea parent: glossy, metallic-sheened, arrow-shaped leaves with dark purplish undersides that deepen with maturity, plus an unusually dark purple spathe.

Sedenii's aurea form is the value driver; the plain plant is a common large hybrid.
- Aurea is rare-ish but the green is common — don't let a little yellow justify a grail price.
